Brief Description:

The Community Foundation of Sarasota County believes an investment in education is an investment in our community's future. And we believe that all who wish to further their education and increase future potential far success should have an equal chance to take advantage of the opportunities available to them. That's why we are proud to offer our Adult Learner Scholarship Program to all prospective and current students residing in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, and DeSoto Counties.

Students must be 24 years of age or older as of December 31, 2020 to apply for educational funding through our Adult Scholarship Program. Students who have already received CFSC scholarships for the 2020-2021 school year are not eligible to apply through this application cycle. The next opportunity for these students to apply for our scholarships will open around February 2021 and awards will be for August 2021 - July 2022.

Special Note: This application is only available to students who:

        1. are residents of Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, or DeSoto Counties for 1 year or longer

        2. have not already received a scholarship through the Community Foundation of Sarasota County for the 2020-2021 school year

        3. will be 24 years of age or older as of December 31, 2020

*No other students should apply using this form as all ineligible applications will be automatically denied.
